Fantastic you've got to go
This site is fantastic, family run, so are very accommodating,
the site has gained the david bvellamy gold award for conservation, so it is totally unspoilt, the main camp field is totally flat.
We camped on peg 13, it is a larger peg but you are at the end of the camp field through the wood.
They have built into the wood a little woodland walk over a brook this leads to the kids play area and shop which is situated within the owners house.
All the campers seem to create a warm family atmosphere.
Everything about this site is perfect, it goes totally quiet at 9pm all you can hear is the distant pangs of the odd guitar as campers entertain their families, and no one seems to get up befor 8 am. So a good nights sleep had by all.
We pitched our tent at Ruthern Valley during the second May Bank Holiday weekend. We arrived early on the Friday and were welcomed even though we were three hours before the official booking in time.

“Fanastic place, Fanastic time - have rebooked for next year”
What a lovely place Ruthern Valley is, we had a lodge over October half term, which was very clean and comfortable. It was a great base for getting out both to the beach and to the Eden project. We all particularly enjoyed our time cycling on the Camel Trail, which is a very close and easy ride away.
The site and area are abundant with wildlife, the children loved running around in the woods and playarea.
Looking forward to returning this year!

Andrew and Nicola were great and nothing was too much trouble. We never experienced a queue for any of the three showers, or the washing up facilities. The pitches were sizeable and well spaced.
We would definitely recommend this camp site to others.
